George was the beloved husband, for 57 years, of the late Kathleen (nee Costello) (2018) and loving father of Celine (Bill) Irving, Joanne, Mary Catherine (Robert) Arkle, the late Gina (Gary) McIntosh and George III. ) Peacefully passed away at University Hospital on Monday, December 11, 2023, in his 90th year. Survived by daughter Florence Joan Freeman, grandchildren: Jill, Annie and Abby. We will all remember his blue sparkling eyes!Predeceased by his loving wife Florence Hasiuk, baby daughter Karen, his parents, brothers: Walt, Joe, Tom, Lee and Andy Hasiuk, and sister: Adele Hamm. Mike was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and someone who was always of good humor, a kind nature, and a lover of life. He was an activemember of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, participating as a weekly usher, member of the Knights of Columbus, and helped his wife in coordinating Project Hope for the parish (providing rides for handicapped and seniors). After retirement he began fly fishing, golfing, and joined the local senior bowling league which he continued well into his 90's. Mike enjoyed a variety of outdoor hobbies including boating and fishing, and assisting with the local boy scout troop. He then worked as a printing press operator at the Smith-Edwards-Dunlap commercial printing company in Philadelphia for more than 40 years. Mike served as an Aviation Machinist in the US Navy during WWII. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late George and the late Mary (Dubek) Hasiuk. Adam Michael Hasiuk, 98, of Morton, PA, and recently New Hamburg, NY, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023, in his home surrounded by family.
